Worker dies in Skegness construction site

A construction worker has been killed in Skegness after falling from scaffolding whilst transporting a load of bricks. The 26-year-old worker had been working on a construction site when he fell 8 feet from the scaffolding causing the bricks he was carrying to land on him causing his death.

The company he was working for at the time, Chestnut Homes have expressed their deepest condolences to the family of Justin Gillman. They are working in full co-operation with the Health and Safety Executive to find how this incident occurred.

This is the first kind of incident that has occurred at a Chestnut Home's construction site according to their managing director, David Newton.

The HSE are now working closely with Lincolnshire Police in order to uncover the cause of this tragic accident.
