Work floors must be clear!
Posted on April 15th 2009
A physiotherapist from London has called upon employers to clear their workplace floors, and asks why accidents within the workplace occur.
Pauline Cole who supports the HSE's Shattered Lives campaign, says that all floors in the workplace should be kept clear and maintained at all times. She also urges that there should be clear warning signs when there is a change in the flooring. Also employees should report any hazardous situations.
This news comes after the ever growing attempt to reduce the amount of workdays lost a year as last years figure reached an all time high.
