Widower receives compensation

£115,000 compensation has been awarded to a widower of a man who died from mesothelioma, after he was exposed to asbestos.

Her husband worked for a heating engineering firm, working in boiler houses as an engineer and pipe fitter. This involved using lag pipes, which exposed him to asbestos.
