Wales top for work place injuries

Data compiled by the chartered society of Physiotherapy has exposed that Cardiff is the city as to where the highest number of work place accidents take place. Between 2006 and 2007, 199 workers suffered from personal injuries in the workplace in the welsh city.

The figures, which were reported to the health and safety executive, have placed Cardiff at the top of the Welsh league for major and fatal injuries.

Further figures have also come to light, showing that 20 of all burns that are referred to Hospital in Swansea were down to accidents caused in the workplace. 23 of work related injuries also consist of Chemical Burns.
