UK Employers are not taken responsibility for work-related accidents
Posted on April 27th 2009
A recent survey taken out on work place accidents has found that an incredible 97 percent of victims have said that they have not received any kind of apology when they have been involved in a work place accident, although they did comment that if they had received an apology, compensation claims would still be carried out.
The figures reflected that many bosses had not taken any responsibility for what had happened in the workplace, taking no responsibility for the welfare of their staff.
Should an incident occur within the workplace, a business is going to suffer. Health and Safety is such a priority for businesses to ensure that their staff are working in a safe environment otherwise employees are going to be unhappy, leaving themselves open to compensation claims and a loss of man hours and by not complying with Health and Safety laws, businesses are open to large fines.
