Settlement for slip at work

A settlement has been reached between a supermarket café assistant and her employers after she experienced a slip at work.

The assistant received £7,650 in compensation from the company after fracturing her wrist due to slipping on a wet floor.

The supermarket admitted liability and decided to settle out of court rather than pursuing legal action.
