Safer workplaces for employees

Statistics have revealed that last year on average 5 people a day were involved in accidents at work in Suffolk with a total of 1,857 a year.

The figures, which were released by the Health and Safety Executives has led them into urging all employers into making their workplaces safer by taking more ownership and leadership into implementing Health and Safety in to their places of work and involving their workforce.

In the East of England last year, every fortnight somebody was killed at work and approximately 266 people were injured.
