Polished slip and trip
Posted on January 16th 2009
A woman while at work damaged herself when she slipped on a polished floor that had recently been cleaned.
The lady walked over the floor that the cleaners had polished leaving a residue. As a result of this the lady damaged her lower back, sprained her knee and injured her arm.
The ladies lawyer said that the employers should have left a sign to state that the floor could be dangerous or make sure that any residue was cleared up.
The final compensation claim amounted to £6000.
