HCA releases more funds into the construction industry
Posted on October 21st 2009
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has provided the construction industry with a ray of hope as they release £50 million into the housing industry.
The funding for the UK housing schemes will benefit the UK with the opportunity to build more much needed homes and provide the redundant tradesman with an opportunity to work again. 27 housing projects across the UK will be kick started with the HCS's funding, building 2,000 new homes targeted towards the affordable housing schemes; creating 2,000 more properties across the UK.
The news of the cash injection into the housing industry has been greatly welcomed by the construction trade that has had to make a large number of redundancies over the past couple of years due to the current economic downfall.
