Dentist ordered to pay £25,000

A man who used the same dentist for years only discovered that his teeth were in an advanced state of decay after visiting another dentist for cosmetic work. This was blamed on the fact his normal dentist had never offered him a tooth x-ray.
The dentist conceded liability and was ordered to pay £25,000 in compensation.
