Court proceedings initiated following serious workplace accident
Posted on January 28th 2009
A legal case has begun following a workplace accident where a man nearly died after being crushed by a crane.
The worker, who is seeking compensation following the injuries and suffering he has incurred, suffered from a broken pelvis and a torn urethra to name a few and had to undergo at least 8 operations. He also contracted a bone infection whilst undergoing treatment, leaving him to undergo a further two operations.
The 37 year old man and father of one commented, 'it didn't look like I was ever going to make it'.
He has recently started a new job as a driver, but is still on pain killers and antidepressants following his near death experience.
