A man received £20,000 compensation after he fractured his skull while working.
The gentleman was using a mobile crusher and noticed that a piece of metal was stuck in the jaw of the machine. The man attempted to turn the machine off to remove the large piece of metal that would not go through the jaw when pieces of metal flew out of the machine and hit the man on the side of his head.
He suffered a fractured skull, which required surgery to rectify the damage caused.
