Compensation denied due to ignoring warning signs

A workers family has been denied compensation after the worker was crushed to death by a baling machine due to ignoring a danger sign.
The Health and Safety Executives (HSE) have investigated the firm and it is believed that the accident may have been caused by the worker walking in to a danger zone and accidentally activating the machines by tripping on a sensor.
The workers employers advised that they take the Health and Safety of their associates in the workplace very seriously and actively follow and promote best practise to avoid such incidents.
