Compensation awarded after being made to retire from a result of workplace injury

A 60 year old Blow Mould Engineer was forced to retire after rupturing the bicep in his right arm after tightening a bolt at work.
His employment was terminated on the grounds of ill health and as a result of his employee's negligence he struggled to find a new job. After support from his trade union and their personal injury specialist he was awarded £95,000.
