Accidents in the workplace have become an epidemic
Posted on April 06th 2009
There have been 31 work related deaths in the first three months of 2009 this has caused the Regional Health Authority to call this an epidemic.
This has caused the Ministry of Health a lot of concern about the situation, and they are quoting it is unacceptable for public health.
This has caused a call for all business leaders to discuss the matter in further detail, and they have stated that company subcontracting is a risk factor, this does not only cause a risk of accidents happening but this can result in projects being closed down and having a hefty fine against them.
