Accident caused by pot hole

A man who was injured whilst riding his bike has received £11,000 compensation from the council responsible for the road maintenance.
The man was cycling along a street when his bicycle wheel dropped in to a pot hole and he landed on the road.
The injuries the man suffered included a fractured pelvis which required internal fixation and also a series of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
