Absence of Ear Protection causes hearing loss
Posted on May 06th 2008
A woman who made a claim against noise induced hearing loss has received £4,000 in compensation.
The noise that she suffered was from textile machinery where she worked as a doffer in a textile mill from 1964 - 1967, without any ear protection.
The employer went out of business some time ago, however the claim was quickly settled after the lawyers managed to trace the insurers of the company.
