£220000 compensation for injured production worker

A Women has received £220,000 compensation after an accident at work resulting in her having permanent lack of movement in her right forearm.
The production worker was operating a drill when it kicked back striking her right arm. She was unaware that the drill was defective.
She suffered a broken arm, however the fractures went undiagnosed for a year. She had to undergo an operation in which screws were inserted in her arm. She suffered complications in surgery developing compartment syndrome, which required her to undergo an emergency decompression operation.
