Long gone have the days of being scared to go to the dentist
A dental clinic in South Cumbria has replaced the traditional anaesthetic syringe with a ‘magic wand’, a high tec looking pen that is designed to work below the pain threshold.
The clinics director has said that since introducing the pen children don’t seem to even notice the injection. They have even introduced giving them a free box of magic tricks and a packet of magic sweets that don’t harm their teeth after ever visit.
The dental syringe was invented in 1920 and until now nobody has found a friendly alternative to the nightmare of going to the dentist. The magic wand has been tested on many patients, young and old and have all been impressed by the new invention.
