Lack of protection causes hearing loss
£5,000 has been awarded to a man who worked as a baker between 1980 and 2005.
He was exposed to excessively loud noise whilst carrying out his duties, but was not given the correct ear protection until approximately 2003, causing him noise induced hearing loss and some tinnitus.
The workers employers admitted liability before court proceedings were issued.
