Crushed hand leads to six-figure payout

A man who has crushed his hand at work has had a six-figure settlement payout for the damages caused.

The man who was assisting two of his colleagues move some heavy machinery at his place of work. The equipment was suspended on one of the forks on a forklift truck. The man was stood to one side of the equipment steadying it when the fork detached from the truck leading to the equipment falling to the ground, smacking the mans hand on the way down.

The accident has caused severe damage to the man’s hand. His left ring finger and little fingers have both been crushed and many operations have been done to try and rectify the damage.

The man was unable to return to the job that he was in so is currently looking for other employment.
